You Think Things Are Bad Now? Wait Until November!

What we are experiencing now is only a minor dress rehearsal for what is in store for us during the primary election.

Something went terribly wrong on our way to making America great again. In the summer of 2016, Trump stood in front of a predominately white audience in Dimondale, Michigan, and addresses African Americans. “You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58% of your youth is unemployed — what the hell do you have to lose?”

Almost three and a half years into the Trump Administration, we definitely have the answer; We have everything damn thing lose! Our lives are even part of the answer.

Because of his lack of leadership, we have paid more taxes, have high unemployment, and have lost 10s of thousands of people due to poor leadership during the worldwide pandemic. In the midst of one of the most outrages acts of murder by the police, Trump stokes the fire of violence and racism that plunges the United States in a cauldron of hate and division. We are currently in a state of emergency that we have not seen since the civil war.

Trump has trampled all the norms on his way to dismantling America. And I say this without any hyperbole or sensationalism. He is doing things that are not exactly breaking the law, such as firing any watchdog or inspector general that is threatening his grip on power. He is taking advantage of this heretofore unknown flaw in the system; If it is not against the law, he’s immune. He’s moving ahead (ethics be damned) with saying and doing literally anything he wants to do.

The hour we are now in is darker than September 11. At least September 11 was only one tragic day, which we are still trying to deal with emotionally. But what we are experiencing now is a slow death. There is no time to lick our wounds because we are still being attacked.

We have a collision course coming in November: Presidential election, pandemic, continued coronavirus death, highest unemployment since the recession, bankrupt businesses, police brutally, voter suppression, riots across America, Russian Interference. None of this shit is going to get better from now to November.

Trump is already laying the groundwork to undermine the election. During California’s special election in May, he stated, “They are trying to steal another election. It’s all rigged out there. These votes must not count. SCAM!”

We already know that he will reject the results. We know this because he rejected the results of an election he won! Winning the election was not good enough. He claimed 3 to 5 million votes were illegal. He provided no proof, not one piece of evidence. If he made that claim as a winner, we know for sure he will dispute it if he loses. And since he seems to not give a damn about anyone but himself (and his daughter), he will do anything to stay in power. I’m not going to say stay in office, I say stay in power. Because there seems to be no office of the presidency. All the rules and norms about being an American president can be thrown out the door. This is power. He has the power to ignore rules, the power to make immoral decisions, the power to be a racist. There is nothing presidential to what he’s doing.

Being a politician must be the highest form of human achievement. Why else would a man give up his dignity, self-respect, decency, and even his soul, to a person with the intellect of a 7-year-old, the moral values of a snake, and the proper physical specifications of an ogre. I will never ask why politicians bow to Trump. The answer, of course, is these politicians want to keep their job. But my big question is, Why do they do that?

Why is being a politician more critical than their human dignity? There’s apparent power, or better yet, the thirst for power that would leave a grown man groveling at the feet of another man. Crawling like little puppies fighting for a teat. This man they worship is not smart, he’s not a deity; he’s a regular guy who represents the lowest forms of human life that DNA has ever concocted.

The bottom line to think about is that he will dispute the election: whether he wins or loses. If he wins, American as we know it will end, and it will be ugly. But I do not think he will win. I am very sure he’ll lose. If he loses, as I stated earlier, he will use the same tactic of saying the election is rigged. This time it will be worse. There will be blood in the streets. First, he will refuse to leave. He will wait for the gun owners and motorcyclists and all of his other proletariat followers to attack the hordes of people already celebrating Biden’s November victory. Thousands of people will be killed in the ensuing chaos. The military will have to quickly make a decision. We can only hope the military will not become fragmented. This will create more chaos as military units fight each other for control.

It may be a stretch to say that any military unit can thoroughly purge all of their African American, Mexican, or any servicemen of color, out of the service, and still be immediately functional. But still, the chaos will be enough to start a mini civil war. This is not a parody. I am not being whimsical. I believe this to be true. I think Donald Trump will destroy the country to stay in power.

His time in office leading to November of 2020 is a time filled with hate, corruption, violence, traitors, racism, lies, ineptness, divisiveness, police brutality, sickness, death and I can think of at least a hundred more things to say, but you get the message. Trump is an egocentric person that brings out the very worst in America. Things will be much worst in November and people, many Americans will die next fall and winter.

I am not a religious person, but I pray I am wrong. I will rather be called an asshole or a left-wing alarmist if I am wrong than to face the reality that I am right. But at this moment, I believe America is headed for a civil war, however short it may be. We are heading into the abyss, and the only thing we can do is prepare for a bumpy ride.

Please pray, I am wrong.
